What do I need to play Cash Hunt?
Cash Hunt is a virtual treasure hunt, all you need is a computer with an internet connection. All of the information you need to solve the clues is out there somewhere on the web, it's just a case of looking in the right places.
How do I get my treasure hunt clue?
Once you have registered go to the 'Log In' page and you will see the current live treasure hunts.
What is the prize for solving the treasure hunt?
The first entry picked out of the correct entries each month will win the contents of the treasure chest which currently stand at £250.
How much does it cost to enter Cash Hunt?
For the time being it's absolutely free to enter the competition but it won't be forever so make the most of it while you can.
What happens if no one solves the treasure hunt within the month?
In this unlikely event the game will be extended.
I think I know the location of the treasure. Do I need to visit?
Not at all. Once you have identified the location all you have to do is fill in the online submission form to find out if you are correct. There is no actual treasure buried anywhere.
How many answers can I submit?
Only one submission per contestant each day is allowed. The first submission made on any particular day will be taken into account, any further submissions that day will be rejected. This is to prevent people trying to randomly guess the answers.
When do the new treasure hunts begin?
Our monthly treasure hunts are launched on the first day of the month. The game runs for approximately 28 days and all entries must be submitted before the stated closing date.
